Jumanji is an American movie directed by Joe Johnston. Joe Johnston's famous films are Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989) and Jurassic Park III (2001). The genre is adventure fantasy. The movie is b ased on the picture book by Chris Van Allsburg. This is the first movie in the " Jumanji " series. Alan, the son of a splendid father who runs a Parish factory, is timid and always bullied. One day, he heard a strange noise at a construction site near the factory, and when he approached, there was a board game in a wooden box. Alan starts playing games with his friend Sarah at his house. After picking up the mysterious board game, they are attacked by cataclysms and terrifying animals that come out of the game and can't be defeated until the goal is reached.
