Coraline is an American movie directed by Henry Selick. Henry Selick's famous films are James and The Giant Peach (1996) and The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). Coraline was released in 2009. The genre is fantasy animation. Originally a children's literature work by Neil Gaiman, it was made into a movie as a 3D stop motion animation. At the Annie Awards, it was nominated for eight categories, including the Best Picture Award, and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Anime Film. A curious girl Coraline has moved to a new apartment. Her parents are busy with work and don't seem to care about Coraline. Bored and lonely, she found a small door sealed in the wall. When she opened the door and went inside, it was a dream world where "another parents" with button eyes lived and any wish would come true.
